Choosing Your Niche Marketing Campaign

Many coaches start out with loads of excitement and positive outlook on changing the world after paying the tuition and graduating.
There are many things to think about when choosing a coaching course and even more so when your building your business.
They decide that they’re passion is working with people who are three feet tall that wear green sweaters and work in the north pole. Ok that might be an exaggeration however many coaches fail to profit because of it. there’s many different reasons for that and not having a well-defined profitable niche is one critical component. Notice how I said profitable niche, what good is it to offer coaching for a very small demographic? Or at the other end of the spectrum coaches who specialize in too many areas. It is unmanageable and creates a vision of disarray. You must ask your self what are the life coaching niches you can work in. Successful coaches focus specifically on one or two areas. They form referral partnerships with other coaches to support each other and their clients. Think about how many different areas of medicine there are. You wouldn’t go to a pediatrician if you have a cavity?
When choosing life coaching courses make sure they offer a wide variety of communities of practice where you can explore samples of niches available and identify which one works best for you and which one you connect with.

Here are some additional reasons why it’s important:

Identify if there is a need in the market place that people are willing to pay.
To position your self as an expert in the filed.
Focus target marketing efforts.
Identify earning potential ahead of time.
Saves you time, money and energy by being focused.
Provide the best value to your clients due to your specialization.

In addition to the most popular reason people fail in business the fear of success. Most people don’t check the ecology of what they offer. The think about themselves and about what they like to do. A more effective approach would be to spend time researching the different coaching niches they can position themselves in, check the competition and start building an aggressive marketing campaign to fill the need. Would it not be best to open a candy store in front of a school then in the desert? Start your business building momentum from the beginning.
